Who Am I? Here’s My Story

Hi, I’m Allan—a Navy veteran turned solo traveler and digital marketer, driven by a passion for growth, connection, and storytelling. My journey hasn’t always been easy, but every challenge has shaped the person I am today.

In 2020, during the height of the world epidemic, I was aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt Aircraft Carrier, navigating one of the most demanding and traumatic experiences of my life. After a stressful first deployment, we were immediately sent back out for another eight-month deployment—with no port calls or reprieve. The isolation, constant pressure, and lack of balance took a toll.

Once that deployment ended, we entered an 18-month shipyard period—a time marked by overwork, poor treatment, and mental exhaustion. Somewhere along the way, I felt myself changing. Who I was at my core began to shift, and I knew I couldn’t continue living a life dictated by others’ expectations.

When I left the Navy in 2023, I made a promise to myself: to live life on my own terms. That promise led me to Mexico, where I traveled solo for two unforgettable months. Along the way, I rediscovered a passion for connection, creativity, and storytelling—not just through travel, but also through digital marketing.

As part of my commitment to growth and pursuing my dreams, I’m currently studying for my Bachelor of Science in Media Communications at the Los Angeles Film School. This degree is equipping me with the tools to create impactful stories and connect with audiences in new and meaningful ways.
